there and a very big welcome to our 'Q1
Technology News and Reviews' publication that is a 'FREE' subscription magazine on-line
for all our techie friends at home and at work.
In the coming year, we hope to bring you very informative news.
articles and features, covering a plethora of technology subjects in
our
industry. Encompassing the World Wide Web, Computing, Mobile, Tablet,
Television and other new and emerging PDA's, gadgets and gizmo's.
We know already one of the biggest stars on the red carpet this year in
technology, will be smart tv as the internet comes to the box in the
corner! A traditional cornerstone in the modern home of western society
for more than 60 years.
We will also probably see the number one spot in technology, that has
been held by Apple
these past 5 years, taken by Samsung.
Following a conversation today with KMS Distribution, we discussed the
dynamics of the new Samsung Smart TV and we
both concurred in complete unison, when we described Samsung devices.
They are not only beautiful and have the looks. But they are just
brilliant and build some of the most amazing and robust devices ever.
For the industry we believe it to be another very hard year. We saw in
our sector a significant number of closures throughout the UK of
retailers and believe sadly this year there will be more in 2012.
Also and a sad reflection of the times we will endeavour to keep you
posted and up to date with any fraudulent scams, be it email, on-line
or even by phone, where we have recently reported to the Police
at Action Fraud. PC users at home, are being called by an organized
crime gang
claiming to be working for Microsoft, or another note able organization
and claiming your PC is infected by a virus. As a result, some members
of the community have been duped
into allowing these people to take over their PC by a virtual network,
where they proceed to steal all your identity, credit card and banking
details plus more. If you have experienced such and event, please help
our boys and girls
